Angela Christine Bennett, 51, of Farley, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at her home in Farley, Iowa, surrounded by her family.

Visitation for Angela will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa. Visitation will also be held after 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Phil Gibbs presiding. Assisting Deacon: Nick Elliott. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

Angie was born November 15, 1974, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of Jack and Joanne (Stelken) Dardis. She graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 1993, where she excelled in softball and was later inducted into the Western Dubuque Hall of Fame in 2009. Angie had over 100 wins while playing just 40 games a year. She went on to attend Loras College where she studied education. Post-college, Angie began teaching Spanish and coaching volleyball at Beckman High School in Dyersville. She did this for 7 years before teaching another 7 years at Western Dubuque High School where she also coached volleyball. After teaching, Angie worked as an executive trainer and coach for Dardis Communications. Angie flourished in this role and went on to earn the title of Senior Vice President. If you were fortunate enough to work with Angie (whether as a client, teammate, athlete, or student), you experienced firsthand her true passion for helping people.

Outside of work, Angie enjoyed traveling, attending sporting events, live music, and working out at Sweat Inspire Sisterhood. After the passing of her mother, Angie also stepped into the role of Grandma for all of her nieces and nephews. She was the best holiday hostess and gift giver. The kids will always remember all the holidays and birthday parties at Angie’s.

Angie will always be remembered as a loving, giving, and supportive mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She devoted her life to caring for her family, offering unconditional love, wise guidance, and unwavering encouragement through every stage of life. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, creating treasured memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love. She was a loyal sister, a dependable friend, and a source of strength and comfort to so many. Her generous heart, lively and gentle spirit, and selfless nature leave behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her. She was very faith-filled and lived her faith daily.

She is survived by her three children, Jackson Bennett of Des Moines, IA, Isabelle Bennett (& fiancé, Ben Crist) of North Liberty, IA, and Juliana Bennett of Farley, IA; her father, Jack Dardis of Farley, IA; her siblings, Greg (Tonya) Dardis of Delhi, IA, Abby (Andy) Hyland of Farley, IA, and Chris (Ashley) Dardis of Farley, IA; her nieces and nephews, Lincoln, Kennedy, Harrison and McKinley Dardis, Drew, Claire, and Emma Hyland, and Nora, Henry, Jack, and Calvin Dardis.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Dardis on May 12, 2020; and a niece, Ruby Dardis on March 16, 2018.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wendt Family Cancer Center, Dr. Herman, MD, Tony Heiar, ARNP, the nurses, and the front desk staff. They would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of Angie’s friends who supported her throughout her 10-month battle with cancer. They gathered outside her living room window the night before her first treatment to dance the Tootsie Roll, her signature move, which was a moment of love and laughter she will never forget. In addition, they supported several IV treatments, the infamous burger benefit at Dirty Ernies, food around chemo treatments, driving to appointments, living room visits, and singing outside her window.

The family prefers donations to the Angela C. Bennett memorial fund in lieu of flowers.
