Bradford “Brad” Noonan, 38, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away April 7, 2026.

Born on January 24, 1988, Brad was raised in Dubuque, Iowa. After graduating from Hempstead High School, he went on to become a published photographer, locally celebrated chef, and owner of multiple small businesses.

Brad was a cat dad to two beloved and spoiled bengals, Cal and Flo. Among many things, he was known for his culinary skills, his deep love of music, and his unique perspective behind the camera.

More than anything, Brad had an ability to connect with people. He brought a deliberate honesty and a laugh many won’t forget.

Brad is survived by his father, family including aunts and uncles, and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Vicki (Menadue) Noonan.

Family and friends would like to thank the Dubuque Regional Humane Society and Leonard Funeral Home for their care and support. Donations can be made in Brad’s name to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society.

Those looking to gather are invited to join us in honoring Brad “Mr. Moon” Noonan on Friday, May 1st at Olliewood in Dubuque, Iowa. The venue will feature live bands who knew and loved Brad as we come together to remember him and the impact he had on everyone he met. Doors at 5 PM, music at 6 PM.
