Constance Lee “Connie” Saffran, 71, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on February 17, 2018 at Unity Point Health, Finley Hospital.

Family and friends may gather from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road.

Connie was born on August 31, 1946 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Milo and Rosemary (Westercamp) Weber. She married George Saffran on June 26, 1962 in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on January 29th, 2018.

She worked at Marian Hall at Mount Carmel until her retirement.

She is survived by her three children, Karen (Ron) Barker, George (Stacy) Saffran, and Steve (Janie Berendes) Saffran. Grandchildren, Lindsay, Laura, Amber, and Lacey. Great grandchildren, Jayden, Jeep, Ella, Lucy, Lydia, Addyson, Evie, and Charlie. Siblings, Randy (Chub) Weber, Sandy (Dick) Ansel, Danny (Marianne) Weber, and Janelle (Dennis) Duwe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother Ronnie Weber.

The family wishes to thank the UW Madison Hospital doctors, nurses and staff for all their wonderful care they gave to Connie.
