Daniel G. Dalsing, 63, of Platteville, WI, formerly of Kieler, WI, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Our House Assisted Living Center in Platteville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Kieler, with Fr. Bernard Rott and Fr. Donald Lange concelebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 and from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. on Monday at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center in Kieler, where the parish rosary will be recited at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.

Dan was born on January 19, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Cletus H. and Frieda (Ihm) Dalsing. He graduated from Southwestern High School in Hazel Green, WI.

Dan worked at Timmerman’s Supper Club for many years, and then worked at Kirchoff Distributing Co., now called 7-G. He really enjoyed being one of their “Fans”.

He is survived by his sister Mary Kay (Bob) Helbing of Platteville; his sister-in-laws, Lorraine Dalsing, Peg Dalsing and Donna Dalsing; and 10 nieces and nephews and their families.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Cletus and Frieda; brothers, Ken, Clete and Jim; sister-in-law, Jane (Dominy) Dalsing; and a nephew, Kent Dalsing.

In lieu of flowers, a Dan Dalsing memorial fund has been established.
