Corey J. Woodyard, age 44, of Dubuque, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital.  There will not be a public service held at this time.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting Corey’s family.

Corey was born on June 30, 1981, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Keith and Vicki (Felton) Woodyard.

Corey graduated from Hempstead High School.  He was an active person, and he enjoyed both playing and coaching Dubuque Youth Hockey.  Corey truly loved being in the great outdoors.  He was an avid golfer and also played softball.  Corey will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish Corey’s memory include

3 sons;

his mother,
Vicki Woodyard;

and a brother,
Kyle Woodyard.

Corey was preceded in death by his father, Keith Woodyard; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Rusty Felton; and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Betty Woodyard.

Corey’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital for going above and beyond in caring for Corey and his family.
