Gloria Lee (Buttolph) Clausen, 83, of Bellevue, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., following visitation.

Gloria was born on October 26, 1942, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Arlene (Drier) and Cecil Buttolph. In 1963, she married Russell Clausen, and together they raised four children. Her four grandchildren were especially important to her, and she also had a great love for iris flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Clausen of Bellevue; sons, Shane Clausen, Drew Clausen, Kyle (Raquel) Clausen, and Trent (Lori) Clausen; sisters, Barbara Day and Susan Chapman; brother-in-law, Roger Keil; grandchildren, Avery, Aidan, Arianna, and Keeley; sisters-in-law, Shirlaine (Ted) Dawson and Kay Strum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Buttolph and Arlene Rowe; stepfather, Maynard Rowe; infant sister, Barbara Ann; brother, Lee; sister, Nancy Keil; and brothers-in-law, Dugan Strum, Robert Day Jr., and Barry Chapman.
