Gregory T. Steffen, 38, of Zwingle, Iowa, passed away on July 28, 2026, at home.

Private family services will be held. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.

Gregory was born on March 19, 1988, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Daniel F. and Karen S. (Dunne) Steffen. He worked in the agriculture industry.

He is survived by his mom, Karen; brothers, Eric and Brian (Jenna); a nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan; and grandparents, Orland and Laverne Dunne and Leon and Anna Mae Steffen.

The family would like to thank the La Motte Rescue Squad and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for their care, response, and support.
