Heather Marie Feldman

Heather Marie “Doobie” Feldman, 49, of Dubuque passed away at Finley Hospital, Saturday evening April 21, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 26th. at Resurrection Catholic Church with Rev. Andrew Marr officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road where the parish wake service will be at 7 p.m.

Heather was born on January 30, 1969, the daughter of Don and Shirley (Larkin) Feldman in Dubuque, Iowa.

Heather was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend to many. While Heather may have been the baby of the family, she was also the matriarch. Her sense of humor and laughter will be treasured by all who knew her.

Her joy of working with people and children were reflected in her years working at the Wedding Chapel, Soiree and most recently Dubuque YMCA/Finley Daycare.

Those left to honor her memory include her father, Don, her siblings; Londie Brauer, Sue Feldman, Kim Feldman, all of Dubuque, Gina (Mark) Truninger of Clinton, Iowa, Doug (Tanya) Feldman of Des Moines, Iowa, Todd (Dawn) Feldman of Omaha, NE, Tammy (Curtis) DeWulf and Tracy Feldman of Madison, WI, her nieces and nephews; Amanda (Bill) Coakley, Rachel Kane, Derek (Aria) Truninger, Matthew (Randi) Truninger, Conner Feldman, Curt DeWulf, Stephen DeWulf, Carson Feldman, Hunter Feldman and Spencer Feldman, her great nieces and nephews; Kaelynn Kane, Cooper Kane, Olivia Coakley, Addison Coakley, Isabelle Coakley, Lenox Truninger and Owen Coakley, her aunt Shirley Smith of Ely, Iowa and her beloved dog, Bubbles.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Shirley and two brothers; John in infancy and Timm “T.D.”

A Heather Marie Feldman memorial fund has been established.
