Judy J. Feuss, 83, of Oxford Junction, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at home.

Judy Jo Feuss was born on November 4, 1942, in Jackson County, Iowa, to Mervin K. and Norma E. (Jess) Merrick. She was a 1961 graduate of Maquoketa High School. On August 4, 1962, she was united in marriage to Allen L. Feuss in Maquoketa, Iowa, and together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and devotion. Allen preceded her in death on May 23, 2010.

Judy spent 30 years working for WADY Industries in Maquoketa, where she was known for her steady work ethic and dependable nature. She took pride in her work and in the life she and Allen created together. Through the years, she remained in the home they established in 1962, continuing to live there through hardships with strength, determination, and quiet grace. Her life reflected a deep commitment to the people and places she loved, and she found joy in watching her family grow and thrive.

In retirement, Judy especially enjoyed spending time with her ponies and her faithful pups, and she treasured the simple routines of home and family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those she loved.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Lary (Sandy Wylie) Feuss of Monmouth, IA, Sharon (Craig) Van Ringelestein of Fremont, IA, and Darla (Jeff) Fields of Oxford Junction, IA; 7 grandchildren, Sylvia (Tyler) Brown, Kayla (Dustin) Moyer, Lisa (RJ) McKee, Katrina (David) Goode, Jordan (Heather Scott) Feuss, Katie (Brandon Russell) Fields, and Meagan (Kyle) Behrle; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Ploog of AZ; and her faithful pup, Cee Cee.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Allen, a son Dean Feuss on March 22, 1998, and a son Ronald Feuss on January 16, 2026.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lost Nation, Iowa.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until 11 A.M.  Burial will follow at the Smithtown Cemetery, rural Lost Nation.  The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to Above and Beyond Hospice or the Smithtown Cemetery.
