Kevin B. Knepper
Kevin B. Knepper, 64, Farley, Iowa passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa as a result of an accident while helping his family.
A celebration of life will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Knights of Columbus Hall in Dyersville, Iowa.
Kevin was born December 4, 1959, in Monticello, son of Loras and Mary (Weber) Knepper. Kevin attended grade school at St. Paul’s in Worthington. He graduated from Beckman High School in 1978. He married his high school sweetheart, Sally Goen, on June 10, 1978, in Dyersville, Iowa.
He began farming on the family farm and while farming, he achieved his associates degree from NITI. He farmed until 1999, but continued the hobby through gardening. He worked with Benke Enterprise for several years. He loved farming and always staying busy, often could be seen cutting the grass at various locations, even on Christmas Eve. He always lended a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He cherished the time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also had a soft spot for his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Sally; children: Max (Molly) Knepper of Peosta, Annan Knepper of Dyersville, Keely (Jesse) Froehner of Virginia Beach; grandchildren: Jack, Brice, Evelyn, Luella, Alaina, Delila, Sylvie, Riley, Elliott; siblings: Bernie (Jane), Don (Kim) both of Dyersville, Dave (Janet) of Barry, IL, Jeff (Diane) of New Vienna, Gary of Streamwood, IL, Beth Knepper of Yellow Springs, OH, Sue (Bob) Willenborg of Dyersville; mother-in-law, Jeanne Goen of Dyersville; in-laws: Bev (Dick) Anstoetter of Farley, Bev Knepper of Dubuque, Sue Goen of Dyersville, Don Goen of Appleton, WI, John (Robin) Goen of Carefree, AZ, Margi (Al) Loeffelholz of Granger, IN, Tim (May) Goen of Thompson Falls, MT, and Martha Boll of Laguna Woods, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: John Knepper, Doug Knepper, Jane Knepper; father-in-law, John Goen; brother-in-law, Tom Goen; and a nephew, Jake Knepper.
