Lois Marie Frazier, age 72, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away at 8:10 p.m., on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Harmony Cedar Rapids.  To celebrate Lois’ life, family and friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, Dubuque, IA.  Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday at Behr’s, with Pastor Randy Goodson officiating.

Lois was born on June 30, 1953, in Dubuque, daughter of Henry and Violet (Davenport) Haas.  She attended school in Dubuque and graduated from Dubuque Senior High School. Lois married Allen Frazier in 1977.  They later went their separate ways.

She worked as a Teacher’s Aide and Crossing Guard in the Marion Independent School District for over 34 years and truly loved interacting with all of the children. Lois also worked at Manor Care part-time for over 24 years.  She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Hiawatha, Iowa.  Lois enjoyed many meals at her favorite restaurant, Country Kitchen in Marion, where she was treated like a VIP every day.  She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.  Lois will be greatly missed by her family and all the lives she touched over the years.

6 grandchildren,
Camden, Kori, Brienne, Jamal, Hayden and Sakarah;

a sister,
Carolyn (Clint) Alftin, of Payette, Idaho;

and a sister-in-law,
Gretchen Haas, of Napa, Idaho.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Allen Frazier, Jr., 3 siblings, Henry (Mary Jo) Haas, Jr., Elizabeth (Betty Jo) Haas and Paul Haas.

Her family would like to thank the St. Luke’s Heart Center and Care Initiatives Hospice in Cedar Rapids for their care and compassion.
