Nancy J. Geer-Dabron, 73, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital in Dubuque.

According to her wishes, no public services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at the Linda and Gene Farley Center for Peace, Justice and Sustainability Natural Burial Cemetery in Verona, Wisconsin. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, Dubuque, Iowa, is assisting the family.

Nancy was born on August 17, 1953, in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of Donald and Dixie (McHone) Gher.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Diana (Larry) Schluter; brother-in-law, Ken Perkins; good friend, Jack the cat; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Greg Suzda and Tom Dabron; her parents; and sisters, Linda Perkins and Barb (Jeffrey) Gher-Henderson.

The family would like to thank Tri-State Dialysis in Dubuque for their care of Nancy over the years.
