Paul A. Ruh, Sr 75 formerly of Dubuque passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Memorial Visitation will be 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, Friday, April 27, 2018 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home and Cremation Service 3860 Asbury Rd. with a 2:00 pm Prayer Service. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Paul was born February 1, 1943 in Dubuque the son of Earl and Mary (McFadden) Ruh. He retired in 1999 from John Deere Works Dubuque after 38 years of service. Paul enjoyed golfing, bird watching, boating, fishing, and spending time on the lake in Arkansas after retiring. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his children, Timothy Ruh, Debbie (Mark) Ferguson, P.J. Ruh, Jennifer Ruh, Thomas Ruh, and Melissa Ruh; 12 grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Corey, Maizie, Justin, Alexis, Sairah, Sophia, Lillian, Eliyas, Evelyn, and Jairus; a great-grandson, Jayleon; siblings, Roger Ruh, John (Debra) Ruh, and Richard (Chris) Ruh.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Paul’s memory.
