Peggy A. Hull
Peggy Ann Hull, 77, of Dubuque, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at the Unity Point Health-Finley Hospital in Dubuque.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 5:45 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3860 Asbury Road, followed by the service at 6:00 pm.
Peggy was born on April 13, 1946, the daughter of LaVern and George Hull.
Peggy had plenty of friends and connections and was very well liked by many. She was a fabulous cook and decorating and fashion was right up there. She spent much time reading and loved movies and listening to music. She had no problem beating anyone in a game of cards and board games. Entertaining came easy to her and the table was always beautifully done for meals. Peggy loved collecting great artwork and pottery. She was a wonderful aunt to all the kids and spoiled them rotten! Time spent with her nieces and nephews was far greater than gifts but she did plenty of that too!
Survivors include her three sisters, Mary Elizabeth “Tess” (Scott) Budd and their daughter, Emily Rae (Branden Borremans) Budd; Diana Lynn (Jerry) Bottomley and their children, Justin Gene Merkes and Joshua William Bottomley; sister-in-law, Jeanette Hull and her children, Amy Marie Mathison and Ronald Douglas Hull; and most importantly, her baby sister and care giver, Bonnie Sue Hull and her partner, Merrill Toups; and many other cousins.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ronald Ray, David Clay, and Frankie Joe.
Barb Streisand sang it well, “if you ever leave me will you take me with you.”
