Ralph did custom farming. He truly enjoyed what he did. He loved to visit with people, especially “Farm Talk.” As a lifetime farmer, he never wore a hat, rain or shine, but he faithfully wore his green farm uniform, with insignia, “Ralph” on his shirt. He was a loyal John Deere man, Firestone tires, and General Motors. He was an outstanding mechanic and most enjoyed finding solutions to repair farm equipment.

Ralph had a great sense of humor. He could lighten any conversation with his quick wit, which kept his farm friends entertained. He also loved children; as they interacted, you could see their joy.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Feiler of Dubuque, IA; a sister Helen Friedmann of Peosta, IA; a nephew Emmett (Judy) Solomon of Ft McCoy, FL; his in-laws, Patsy (Ray) Schmidt of Omah, NE, Mike Noonan and Dick (Grace) Noonan both of Cascade, IA, Robert (Theresa) Noonan of Monticello, IA, Joe (Margaret) Noonan of San Antonio, TX, Helen (Mike) Pospychala of Rhinelander, WI, Jim (Tara) Noonan of Cascade, IA, Phil (Mary Lou) Noonan of Nashville, TN, and Kevin (Shelly) Noonan of Madison, WI; and a brother-in-law Dick Beaves of Dubuque, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
