Richard L. Hoff, age 50, of Apple River, IL, completed his earthly journey suddenly on October 3, 2026, at home.  Per Richard’s request, there will be no public services.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Richard’s family.

Richard was born on May 31, 1976, in Fort Carson, CO.  He eventually made his way to the Midwest and found various places of employment throughout his working years.  He was primarily a quiet man who preferred to keep life as simple as possible and as uncomplicated as he could manage.  In his free-time, Richard enjoyed both watching sport and playing video games.  His happy place was a serene day and thankfully he was able to find a few of those along the way.  We will miss Richard moving forward and are forever grateful for the memories which still remain.  Thank you, Richard for the time we were able to share while you were here and may our hearts find moments of peace and healing in time until we all meet again.

Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents.
