Robert J. “Rob” Heiar, age 78, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on June 29, 2026, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Rob’s life, a private family burial with military honors will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Rob’s family.

Rob was born on September 11, 1947, in Wisconsin, a son to Alphonse and Evelyn (Scott) Heiar.  He honorably served his country with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and went on to spend the majority of his working career with Flexsteel Industries upon returning home.  Rob enjoyed going to garage sales in his free time and always had a soft spot for his cats and all other outdoor animals.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents.
