SISTER ANN MARIE (MONICE) WEILER, of Clare House, Dubuque, Iowa passed away at 8:10 p.m., September 15, 2026, at Clare House.

Visitation will be at Clare House Chapel, Mount St. Francis Center from 10:00 a.m.-12:45 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026. The Funeral Mass will follow at Clare House Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Sister was born on March 24, 1935 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Ginter) Weiler.

Ann Marie entered the Sisters of St. Francis August 25, 1954, and made final profession of vows August 12, 1960. Sister received her master’s degree from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. She ministered in Iowa at St. Edward’s, Waterloo and in Illinois at Niles, Chicago, and Evanston.

Sister is survived by her nieces, nephews, and her Franciscan sisters.

Sister was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rita Mary Weiler and Jane Weiler; and brother, Robert (Margaret) Weiler.
