Teresa Ann Simons, 67, of Delmar, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, December 11, 2025, at the Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon, Iowa.

Teresa Ann Simons was born on September 11, 1958, in Maquoketa, Iowa, to William K. and Alene L. (Templeton) Simons.  She attended Maquoketa schools.  She married Abraham Fox, while their marriage ended, they shared a lasting friendship and wonderful children, Heather, and Brandon.

Teresa had worked as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for many years at Crestridge Nursing Home in Maquoketa.

Teresa enjoyed going to the casino, painting, baking, and fishing.  She especially enjoyed cooking meals for her family, it brought her so much joy.

She is survived by her children, Heather (Marty Neofotist) Fox of Delmar, IA, and Brandon (Amanda) Fox of Blue Grass, IA; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Fox and Braiden Kroeger; and sisters, Debra (Dean) Tillis of Blue Grass, IA, and Nina (Roy) Buff of NC.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Terry and Dennis, nephew Wil, and a beloved grandchild baby Fox.

At Peace Cremation Services have been provided by Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa.  A private family burial and celebration of her life will be held at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
