Thomas J. Clemens, 82, of Sun City West, Arizona, formerly of Dubuque, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

He was born December 20, 1943, in Dubuque, Iowa. Thomas worked at John Deere Dubuque Works for over 30 years, retiring in 1996. He then worked at Eagle Rigid Resort, Galena, Illinois, as a player assistant for 10 years, and finally retiring in Arizona in 2015. He was a member of UAW Local 94. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Mary Jayne (Pier) Clemens; two daughters, Vicki (Tom) Gloeckner, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Lora Clemens, of El Mirage, Arizona, and granddaughter, Briana Louis, of El Mirage, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyril “Peter” J. and Dorothy A. (Tigges) Clemens; his sister, Beverly A. Hollenback, and his brother, David L. Clemens. Private burial will be at a later date in Key West, IA, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
