Donald K. O’Meara
Donald K. “Ducky” O’Meara, 88, of Dubuque passed away Friday May 6, 2022, at home.
A funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday May 13, 2022, at the Leonard Funeral Homme & Crematory 2595 Rockdale Road, with Msgr James Miller officiating. Military Honors will follow by the Iowa Army National Guard and American Legion Post #6. Family and friends may gather after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until time of service.
Don was born on April 26, 1934, in Dubuque the son of Leonard and Frances (Roling) O’Meara. He married Kathrine O’Meara on October 30, 1954, at the Church of the Nativity and she preceded him in death on February 23, 2019.
He served in the U.S. Army and after he was honorably discharged, he returned to Dubuque and worked as a carpenter for many years first at the Dubuque packing Company. He later worked at Frommelt Rite-Hite, and lastly for O’Meara Custom Products. He loved to go fishing and tinker with most anything
He is survived by his son Tim (Janell) O’Meara of Dubuque, two grandchildren Shane and Myranda O’Meara, a great granddaughter Marcella O’Meara; his sister Linda Callaway; three brothers Kenny (Jeanie) O’Meara, Mike O’Meara, and Jim (Charlie) O’Meara, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Katherine; a daughter Tori O’Meara and siblings Leonard “Lenny”, Jerry, Dolores, Violet, Patty, Carol, and Donna.
Kirk W. Williams
Kirk W. Williams, of Dubuque Iowa, moved on to eternal life on May 7, 2022. He was 72 years old.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday May 12, at St. Patrick Church 1425 Iowa St, Dubuque Iowa, with Father Martin Coolidge officiating. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday May 11, at the Hoffmann, Schneider, and Kitchen Funeral Home and Crematory 3860 Asbury Road, Dubuque IA 52002
Kirk was born January 8, 1950, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Melvin W. and Lorraine E. (Giesler) Williams.
Kirk was an avid hunter and fisherman ever since childhood. His dream was for his children and grandchildren (and even his wife) to likewise enjoy these activities with him. Kirk found God in the outdoors. It inspired him and gave him new life. He supported hunting through membership in the NRA and enjoyed many years at the Izaak Walton Club. He supported local and surrounding Pheasants Forever, Whitetails Unlimited, and Ducks Unlimited chapter banquets.
Kirk was active for many years in the Masons. He began as a member and past Master Councilor of DeMolay, a youth organization. He joined Freemasonry in Mosaic Lodge in 1972. Kirk was later a member of Dubuque Lodge #3 where he earned a Fifty-Year Certificate, and a founding member and Past Master of Tri-State Morning Lodge. He was also a member and Past President of the Dubuque High-12 Club, a member of The Knights Templar and the Shriners, where he had served as a Hospital Dad. Kirk was also a member and Past Monarch of Oxus Grotto, and most recently had become a member of Warren Lodge of Potosi Wisconsin.
Kirk was also a Veteran. He served four years in the Air Force. Among his service time he spent one-year active duty in Saigon, Vietnam. Unfortunately, he was one of the many veterans of that war that suffered the consequences of Agent Orange, which caused him much suffering later in life. Kirk has been a long-standing member of the American Legion. He was always appreciative of how the VA took care of his needs.
Kirk grew up in Dubuque and attended Dubuque Senior High School, graduating in 1968, and the University of Dubuque, graduating in 1982.
Kirk is survived by his wife Geralyn (Geri) K. Williams (Parker) and children Mark W. Williams (and Jenny Edwards) and Nick W. Williams (and Niña Williams) and four grandchildren Johannah, Christian, Beckham, and Sebastian Williams, brother-in-law Donald G. Parker (and wife Mary Duster) and by Vickie Parker and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Melvin and Lorraine Williams, his in-laws, Loriel and Kay Parker and a brother-in-law Lee Parker.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
Michael A. Lippert
Michael A. Lippert, 72, of Dubuque passed away at home on Saturday May 7, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, with a memorial service to start at 6:30 p.m.
Mike was born on October 7, 1949 in Dubuque, Iowa to John and Betty (Altman) Lippert. He graduated in 1967 from Dubuque Senior High School. He attended the University of Wisconsin Platteville for two years. He married Patricia Kelly on May 15, 1971. He started his career at John Deere in 1969 in the drafting department. He worked in Product Engineering for John Deere Dubuque and Davenport North, retiring in 2001 after 32 years.
Mike was a Red Cross volunteer for 30 years, teaching Health and Safety and CPR. He worked many local disasters in the tri-state area and a Florida hurricane. Mike was Board Chairman of the American Red Cross of the Tri-States from 2007-2010. He was a past member of the National Advisory Committee, who traveled to Washington D.C. Red Cross headquarters to discuss disaster planning and preparedness for the nation. Mike was a member of the local Emergency Planning Committee and Training Operation’s committee for the local Fireman’s Training Center. He was also a member of the Dubuque Men’s Association.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Lippert, two daughters Jenny (Vic Stribling) Birch and Angie (Andy Droessler) Oberfoell, five grandchildren Spencer (Nicole Haverland) Oberfoell, Logan Oberfoell, Brandon Birch, Taylor Birch, and Alexis Oberfoell, sisters Lynne (Don Heming) Lippert and Shari Totty, sister-in-law Rita Kelly, nephews and nieces Austin (Allexyss) Totty, Tim (Beth) Kelly, and Chrissy (Jeff) Adams, and good friends Dick and Sandy Birch.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Betty Lippert, parents-in-law Bill and Irene Kelly, and brother-in-law Mike Kelly.
A special thanks to Dr. Salas, the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Finley Hospital 4th floor and ICU, and Melissa from Hospice of Dubuque, and all of our wonderful family, friends, and neighbors for all your help and support.

John S. Zenner
John S. Zenner, age 70, of Asbury, Iowa, passed away at 9:25 a.m., on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Hawkeye Care Center, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. To celebrate John’s life, family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, where a parish scripture service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Church of the Resurrection, 4300 Asbury Road, with Rev. Phillip G. Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
John was born on September 28, 1951, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Henry Zenner and Ethel (Osterhoff) Zenner-Munz.
John graduated from Dubuque Senior High School Class of 1970, and earned his Associates Degree from NIACC in Mason City. He was united in marriage to Judy Lanser on June 23, 1973. They were blessed with 2 daughters before deciding to go their separate ways. He was employed at AY McDonald Mfg. for several years, and devoted 22 years to the City of Dubuque as a mechanic, until his retirement in 2014. John’s faith was a very important aspect of his life. He was a long time member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, but recently began attending services at the Church of the Resurrection with his daughters, and at Grandview Methodist with his significant other Jane. He was also a member of Teamsters Local Union #120. In his free time John had many hobbies, but fixing things was his passion. He enjoyed working on his prized 1967 Chevelle and riding his motorcycle. He liked being outside whether it be fishing, spending time on his boat, or sharing his downhill skills teaching people how to ski at Sundown Mountain. John also enjoyed his winter trips to Daytona Beach, going out on Wednesday night country dancing, and having a drink and some good conversation with his friends. However, the one thing in life that brought him the greatest joy was no doubt his family. He loved spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, and Jane. He truly cherished all of their “Sunday Funday” family nights. John was a great example of a man who worked hard and took care of his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

William L. Latham
William “Bill” Lewis Latham, 82, of Dubuque, passed away on May 7th, 2022, at home.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Burial and committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 11th at Mount Calvary Cemetery with Deacon John Stierman officiating.
Bill was born on October 9, 1939, son of William and Ruth (Jacobs) Latham. He married Leanore Wunderlich on September 16, 1961, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Holy Spirit Parish.
He is survived by his wife Lee; sons Bill (Tina) Latham and Todd (Lisa) Latham, daughter Jodi (Ron) Benson, brother Randy Latham, grandchildren Ashley (Paco) Apodaca, Dustin (Allie) Benson, Beau Benson, Jake Benson, Crystal (John) Parker, T.J. Latham, and Stephanie Maiers; great grandchildren Sage Apodaca, Haven Romaro, Reagan Romaro, Mykia Apodaca, Lucas Latham, Anna Lee Parker, and Elaina Parker, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Deanna (Maiers) Boardman, brothers Larry, James, and Ray, son-in-law Stephen (Oscar) Maiers, and sister-in-law Imelda Rife.

Merlin N. Reuter
Merlin N. Reuter, 87, of Dubuque, passed away on May 6th, 2022, at home.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where a funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Rodney Allers officiating. Entombment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum with military honors by the American Legion Post #6 and the Iowa Army National Guard.
Merlin was born on May 15, 1934, son of Nicholas and Jean (Wieland) Reuter, but was raised by his maternal grandparents Frank and Alice Wieland. He entered the army in 1954-1956 and was a Communication Lineman. He graduated from the Southeastern Signal School in Georgia.
He and his wife, Mary Smith, were married on July 7, 1956. All his married life, he and Mary owned and operated Reuter Apartments. Until his retirement he worked in the sheet metal business. He could fix or repair anything. He built both houses that they lived in. Merlin constructed the cross that sits on the roof of Resurrection Church in Asbury, and the mausoleum at Mt. Calvary- his final resting place.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church Key West, where he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also a member of the Tri State Antique Car Club for many years, as well as American Legion Post #6.
He was a great cook and loved to be in the kitchen. He would never pass up a good game of euchre. He enjoyed going to our family gazebo and cooking for our family.
He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, daughters Joy of Pensacola, FL and Jean of Dubuque, son Jeff (Ellen) of Dubuque, four granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, son Jay, and sister Jean Ann (Homer) Burns.

David E. Smith
David E. Smith, 88 passed away peacefully November 29, 2021, at his home with his loved ones by his side. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena where friends may gather after 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery; Galena where military honors will be accorded graveside by Galena VFW Post #2665 and American Legion Post #193.
He was born September 10, 1933, to Emory L. and Dorothy L. (Redfearn) Smith. David graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1951. He went to work at the Savanna Ordnance Depot before enlisting into the United States Air Force in 1952, where he served four years as a gunner, with the Flight Crew Strategic Air Command, before being honorably discharged in May 1956. David was employed by the Galena postal service for twenty-one years before his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the Elks for 42 years. David had been a loyal fan to his Chicago sports teams, Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks, except for baseball, it was the St. Louis Cardinals. In his earlier years he spent time sketching and drawing, fishing, gardening, picking morels, trips to Las Vegas, racetracks, and local casinos, working puzzles, crosswords, Sudoku, and jigsaws. David also enjoyed reading, especially the work of J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling.
He is survived by his daughter, Robin A. (William A.) Kelly of Galena, longtime companion, Marita K. Watson, of Galena, two sisters, Shirley Bishop, and Janet (Dean) Martensen both of Marion, IA, his nieces and nephews, extended family, Ron (Karen) Stienstra, Randy (Janice) Watson, Nancy Hayes and their children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Timothy David Smith, and brother-in-law, the Reverend George Bishop as well as dear family friend, Donald J. Temperly.

Barbara Zillig
Barbara “Barb” Zillig, 81, of Dubuque, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Unity Point Finley Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Holy Spirit Parish, Sacred Heart Church with Father Steve Garner. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 9th, with a parish wake service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Barb was born on May 13, 1940, daughter of Eugene and Marion (Genszler) McCaffery. She married John “Jack” Zillig on January 24, 1959, at Sacred Heart church, and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2009. She was a professional mom for many years before working at Mt. Calvary cemetery and the Diamond Jo Casino.
Barb loved sports, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes. She was a devout mother and loving wife to Jack. She loved the Mississippi River, and her many trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is survived by her son Jon “Scott” (Kelly) Zillig of Rohrersville, Maryland, former son-in-law Kevin Lynn, many nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, daughter Kerri Lynn, and siblings June Furlong, LaVerne McCaffery, Harold McCaffery, and Eugene Jr. McCaffery.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at UPH Finley Hospital Intensive Care Unit, and Dr. Jon Resar, M.D from Johns Hopkins Hospital, for the great care they gave to Barb.

Donald D. Imbus, 77, of Menominee, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at St. Dominic Villa at Sinsinawa surrounded by his family.
Family and Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the Miller Funeral Home, in East Dubuque, where the Parish Scripture Service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Members of the American Legion Post #787 will meet at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. There will also be a visitation on Friday at the church from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Nativity B.V.M. Church in Menominee, with Fr. Dennis Vargas officiating.
Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by members of American Legion Post # 787 of East Dubuque.
Don was born on June 7, 1944, in Menominee, the son of Henry and Mary (Vogt) Imbus. He was united in marriage to Rose Engel on Sept 7, 1968, at St. Michael’s Church in Galena.
Don served in the US Army from 1965-1967. He retired from John Deere Dubuque Works April 1996. He worked many places, but his real love was farming. He worked for several different farmers, owned his own farm and in retirement enjoyed helping on his son-in-law’s family farm.
Don enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed a good game of Euchre, team euchre and six-handed euchre.
Don is a member of American Legion Post #787, UAW local #94 and lifelong member of Nativity BVM, Menominee.
Don is survived by his wife, Rose; their children: Brenda (Jay) Sherman of East Dubuque; Shelly (Tom) Miller of Hazel Green, WI; and Peggy (David) Brady Glen Ellyn; Grandchildren: Alexis (Michael) Chandler Hazel Green, Kyle (Paige Patzner) Miller and Drew Miller, Hazel Green, Callista and Chelsea Brady Glen Ellyn, and one great-granddaughter, Kaycee Miller, Hazel Green. He is also survived by four sisters, Mary Agnes Melssen, Doris (Bob) Watkins, Joyce (Pat) Powers, Nancy Roepke; three brothers: Bob (Marian), Jim (Nancy Miller) and Dan (Linda) Imbus; in-laws: Diane Imbus, Paul (Cheri) Engel, Leo Engel, Doug Lincoln and Dave Hannaman; many nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Kevin Freiburger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary (Vogt) Imbus, father and mother in-law, William and Marguerite Engel; Brothers: Gerald, Art and Herb Imbus; Brother and sisters in-law: Mike Roepke, Bill and Mary Krocheski, Joan Lincoln and Alice Hannaman.

Terrence L. Richards
Terrance L. Richards, 73, of Dubuque, IA, formerly of Galena, IL, passed away at 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at ManorCare Health Services in Dubuque.
Private family services will be in June at Prospect Hill Cemetery, rural Galena. There will be no public visitation. The Miller Funeral Home of East Dubuque is serving the family.
Terry was born on October 27, 1948, in Hazel Green, WI, the son of Dennis A. and Calista K. (Weis) Richards. He was a graduate of Galena High School, the class of 1967, and later attended Greer Technical Institute heavy equipment school in Braidwood, IL.
Terry was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the Navy Seabees. Terry was formerly employed at Caradco Mfg. and the Dubuque Packing Company. He was a Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed photography, fishing, hunting and was an avid reader especially of Civil War history. Terry was formerly a member of the Galena Fire Department and the Galena United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Cynthia Moser and Teresa Richards both of Galena and Becky Smith of Benton, WI, nieces and nephews, Leanna (John) Coonfare, Kurt (Alicia) Moser, Cole Richards, Staci (R.J.) McNicholl, Michael (Gwen) Benson, Samantha Hernandez, David Lisk and a great-niece Rowyn Moser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Calista, grandparents, Orie and Ellen Richards and Nicholas and Anna Weis.

Lola M. Gartner
Lola Mae Cleda Etzkorn Gartner passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022 at Friendship Village in Kalamazoo, Michigan where she had been a resident for the past seven years.
Lola was born on May 22, 1927, in Edwardsville, Illinois, the daughter of Ottillie Anna Hug and August Etzkorn. She graduated from Edwardsville High School in May of 1945.
On August 29, 1948, Lola married her high school sweetheart, August (Gus) Gartner, who predeceased her by about ten years. Gus and Lola met in the high school dance band where they both played saxophone. Prior to getting married, Lola worked at the abstract office and JC Penney in Edwardsville.
Lola loved her family and was the keeper of the home in the truest sense of the phrases homemaker and housekeeper. Whether new family members, or guests in her home, she warmly welcomed any and all. She lived most of her adult life in Park Forest, Illinois where she raised her three children, parenting with great love and support. She was involved in many church activities at Faith United Protestant Church and enjoyed travelling with Gus, music, singing in the church choir, dancing, bike riding, bowling, sewing, and horseback riding. She especially loved her children and her grandchildren, who adored her in return.
Lola and Gus retired and moved to Galena, Illinois and enjoyed many years of activity at First Presbyterian Church, in the community, and living in both the Galena Territory and the Cobblestone neighborhood in Galena. Lola could make a friend of anyone, whether it was in church or in the line at the grocery store and had a natural ability to meet people where they were.
In the last several years of her life, Lola displayed great courage and graciousness when she lost her ability to speak. but kept her good nature and positive outlook.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Cleaon and Lamoine, and her husband Gus.
Lola is survived by her children Nancy (Loren) Miller of Pickett, Wisconsin, Warren (Karen) Gartner of Victor, Montana, and Diane (John) Boley of Kalamazoo, Michigan; and grandchildren Colleen (Scott) Burdsall, Elizabeth Miller, Robert (Emma) Boley, John (Shauna) Gartner, Ian (Jessica) Boley, James Gartner and Hannah Boley; and ten great grandchildren.
The family will celebrate a graveside service and then have a memorial service including the public at First Presbyterian Church of Galena sometime this summer. Memorial gifts may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Galena, or Hospice of Southwest Michigan/Centrica Care Navigators.
Lois J. Kozloski
Lois J. Kozloski, 94 of Galena and formerly Montgomery, IL passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Galena Stauss Senior Care Community. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family.
She was born October 7, 1927, in Joliet, IL the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Maciokas) Schreiner. Lois spent most of her life in Montgomery. She was united in marriage to Raymond Kozloski in May of 1948 in Joliet. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2001. Lois was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, reading, cooking, and sewing.
Lois is survived by two sons, James and Charles Kozloski, a daughter, Lisa (Gary) Binder all of Galena, and five grandchildren, Megan (Steve) Stemmet and Maren (Russ Kilgore) King both of Yorkville, IL, Matthew Kozloski of Fort Myers, FL, Robert Giese of Wheaton IL, and Andrew (Emily) Giese of Ferndale, WA, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons, John in infancy, and William. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Midwest Medical Center, Galena Stauss Senior Care Community, Prairie Ridge, and Hospice of Dubuque. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.

Marlin J. Keleher
Marlin J. Keleher, 92 of Galena, IL passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, At AHVA Living Center, East Dubuque, IL. A funeral mass will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Galena and where friends may call after 10 AM until the time of mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military honors will be accorded graveside by Galena VFW Post #2665 and American Legion Post # 193. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family.
He was born April 27, 1930, in Elizabeth, IL the son of Charles and Emma (Nolan) Keleher. Marlin graduated from Elizabeth High School with the class of 1948. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Marlin was employed at the Savanna Army Depot as a guard for thirty years until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed family gatherings, golfing and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Marlin served as a caretaker for his parents for many years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by, two sisters, Regina Alber and Charlene Schiltz, and two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth Keleher, a sister in-law, Arlene Keleher and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Holland, and Kathleen Deutsch, and three brothers, John, Clarence, and Emmett Keleher. Robert C. Lehnhardt
Robert C. “Bob” Lehnhardt, Jr., age 57, of Hazel Green, WI, left us all too soon on March 26, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital while surrounded by his loving family and girlfriend. To honor Bob’s life, there will be a party held on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m., in the Dubuque County Fairgrounds Ballroom, 14569 Old Highway Road in Dubuque. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bob’s family.
Bob was born on March 20, 1965, in Dubuque, IA, a son to Robert C. and Carol S. (Willcox) Lehnhardt, Sr. Bob was on the go since the day he was born, with his inquisitive mind and energetic soul driving him through life. Bob always enjoyed a family get together. He enjoyed a competitive game of golf. He loved racing on his motorcycles, riding with his brother and his family. He enjoyed kayaking and going on Harley rides with his girlfriend. Bob loved cheering on the Steelers and taking road trips to their games with his children. He loved a good game of pool with anyone that would take him on.
To know Bob was to love him. His witty humor and his second language of sarcasm. He worked as hard as he played. He spent his last years at Anderson Window and Door. He was always very handy and could tackle any project without hesitation. When anyone needed something fixed or help with a project, Bob was the first person to call. Bob would take in any animal as he was a true animal lover. His spontaneous nature was what he was known for even if he showed up at the last minute.
He enjoyed building rockets with his dad and racing RC cars. Bob loved to cook his father’s recipes. He loved playing cribbage and going fishing with his Gram and to bingo with Jeanne-o.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lehnhardt, Sr.; and his niece, Brittany Gaylord.
