Eagle Point Solar named a 2026 Top Solar Contractor

With 2026 proving to be a milestone year for the U.S. solar industry, Solar Power World has released the 15th anniversary edition of its annual Top Solar Contractors List, recognizing the nation’s leading solar and energy storage installation companies. Eagle Point Solar was once again named to the prestigious list, highlighting its continued growth and leadership in the renewable energy industry. The recognition comes as the United States recently surpassed 6 million individual solar installations, with solar continuing to be the country’s most-installed source of new electricity. More than 72% of the companies recognized on this year’s list have at least 10 years of experience in the solar industry, while 58% have more than 15 years of experience in solar, storage and energy construction. Eagle Point Solar has been serving customers throughout Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin since 2010.

“Despite policy and supply hurdles, the U.S. solar market shows no signs of slowing down,” said Billy Ludt, managing editor of Solar Power World. “Well-run companies are those that can adapt to a changing industry, and we believe the 2026 Top Solar Contractors List features the strongest names in solar development, construction and installation.” While California, Illinois, Texas, New York and Pennsylvania remained the top states for installations in 2026, states such as Maryland, Ohio and Wisconsin experienced significant growth in both residential and large-scale solar markets. Eagle Point Solar continues to serve customers across Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin and was recognized on both the Commercial & Industrial and Residential Top Solar Contractors lists.

The 2026 rankings also reflected strong growth among residential installers, with more companies than ever performing work in the non-utility market. The annual Top Solar Contractors List ranks companies by their 2025 installed capacity, measured in kilowatts (kW DC), and remains the industry’s most recognized benchmark for solar installation companies across the United States.

Eagle Point Solar employs more than 100 solar professionals and installed 12.355 megawatts (MW) of solar power in 2025. Since the company’s founding in 2010, it has completed more than 5,000 solar installations throughout Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, representing a combined generating capacity of more than 108 MW.

“Experience matters,” said Jim Pullen, President and CEO of Eagle Point Solar. “Having reached our sixteenth year in business, our continued success can be directly attributed to our devoted teams of solar professionals and our clients who continue to support the renewable energy industry and help us advance our pursuit in providing the highest quality solar and solar-plus-storage solutions in the tri-state area. Being named a Top Solar Contractor is a testament to the many residents and business owners who have placed their trust in us in helping to make a difference in controlling their rising energy costs and reducing their carbon footprint.”
