Cheryl D. Eversoll, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on September 3, 2026, at Luther Manor. To honor Cheryl’s life, a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3650 Asbury Road in Dubuque. Complete arrangements are pending.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Cheryl’s family.

Cheryl was born on July 26, 1954, in Hazel Green, WI, a daughter to Austin and Monique (Cooley) Parrott. She married Joe Eversoll and they made their way to Springfield, MO. area where they lived for many years. Cheryl did work for a few years in the daycare department at St. John’s Hospital. Joe and Cheryl eventually parted ways and Cheryl made her way back to Galena, Il., where most of her family were located near to her.

Thereafter, she enjoyed caring for her father and cooking him many interesting meals. Cheryl loved to cook and try many new recipes and her father was grateful for her cooking and cleaning help. Cheryl was a homebody, so the visits with her father were quite special to her. Cheryl’s health started failing and with living alone, life got very hard for her. She attempted to continue living alone in a couple of senior living facilities, but ended up in the Luther Manor nursing home, due to a serious fall she had endured. Cheryl was very special and the family will miss her dearly.

Cheryl loved to share greetings and laughter on Facebook with family and friends and she was also dedicated to her Jehovah’s Witnesses faith and practiced their guidelines in her everyday life.

Those left behind to cherish the memory of include her three children, Billie Joe Peine, Springfield, MO, Edward Eversoll, Ferndale, WA, and Jennifer Hollinger, St. Paul, MN;  her three grandchildren, Aliyah, Amoora, and Michael; and one great-grandchild; her three siblings, Pat (Mel) Halstead, Hanover, IL, Kathie Marty, Monticello, WI, and Kelly (Carla) Parrott, Clearwater, FL;  along with numerous extended family, friends, and Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Monique Parrott; her son, Peter Eversoll; and her brother-in-law, Larry Marty.

Cheryl’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Luther Manor and Hospice of Dubuque for all of their professional and compassionate care.
