Georgia Lee Lambe, 79, of Lowden, IA, formerly of Dubuque, passed away on September 21, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Services will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Garryowen with Fr. Mark Osterhaus officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Aloyisius Cemetery, South Garryowen.  Visitation will be on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd., Dubuque, IA.

Georgia was born on June 30, 1944, in Maquoketa, IA, the daughter of Leroy and Madonna (Watters) Marcus of Otter Creek, IA.  She attended St. Lawrence grade school, Holy Rosary High School in LaMotte, Clarke College and NICC.

She married Patrick Lambe on May 29, 1965, at St. Lawrence in Otter Creek, IA.

Through the years she worked at The Wedding Dress shop in Dubuque and in Scottsdale, AZ she worked for Dr. Robert Atwood and Cigna Medical Group.

Georgia belonged to a beading club in AZ, 4H and quilting clubs.  She loved being a farm wife and raising her children.  She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson, great grandchildren, playing cards, showing cattle, 4H projects, vacations, camping, riding horses and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son Kurt, daughter Kris Norris (Rich Bails), grandson Brian (Kelsey), great grandchildren Troy and Finn, brother Gary Marcus, many cousins, nieces, nephews, brother, and sisters-in-law.

Georgia was preceded in death by an infant son Kevin, husband Pat, her mom and dad, her mother and father-in-law Francis and Pauline Lambe, sister Mary Jean Marcus Felton (Denny).
