Jamie G. Eckstein, age 50, of Fennimore, WI, completed his earthly journey suddenly on September 26, 2026, at the Grant County Regional Medical Center.  To honor Jamie’s life, a private family burial will be held in the Cassville Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jamie’s family.

Jamie was born on May 14, 1976, in Dubuque, IA, a son to David and Linda (Mastin) Eckstein.  He found his greatest joys in the outdoors primarily and if a little time fishing, mushroom hunting or camping with friends made it into his week, Jamie was beyond content.  He also enjoyed sitting around the card table with family and friends whenever possible, or if his Detroit Lions were playing, you could easily find him cheering them on from his favorite seat in the house.

Jamie was most recently employed with the Cheese Plant in Fennimore, but had shared his time and talents with various other businesses in the area throughout the years.  We are going to miss Jamie’s contagious smile and fun-loving nature moving forward.  May the Lord grant him peace today from his earthly trials and may his memory of the good moments help us to find some comfort when needed most throughout the most difficult days ahead.

Jamie was preceded in death by his father, David Eckstein.
