Sandra Ann Duehr, age 70, of Sunnycrest Manor, passed peacefully at 11:24 a,m., on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Sunnycrest Manor.  Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting Sandy’s family.

Sandy was born on November 30, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Sylvester and Margaret (Bakey) Duehr.

She was a long time resident of Dubuque and returned home in 1993, to reside at Sunnycrest Manor.  Sandy worked for a few years at VSC in Dubuque.

She enjoyed music, stuffed animals and Pepsi.  She especially enjoyed all attention from her friends.

Those left to cherish Sandy’s  memory include

a sister-in-law,
Cathy Duehr, and her children Randy and Carrie,

a niece,
Pamela Butcher,

a nephew,
Mike (Krista) Torrey

and a nephew-in-law,
Bill Hallahan.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Duehr and Margaret (Clem) Simon;
her sister, Shirley (Don) Torrey; her brother, Randy Duehr; her niece, Peggy Hallahan; and her nephew-in-law, Chuck Butcher.

Sandy’s family would like to thank her care-givers and friends, Rick Brauhn, Vicki Fuller, Aggie Esser and Mary Ann Barton, and the entire staff at Sunnycrest Manor, for their loving and compassionate care over the years.
